Luke’s marketing firm, Vertebrae, specializes in coordinating social media within various aspects of the cannabis industry. Charles Kim is the proud father of a teenage daughter and two dogs. He is a principal of Charlotte & Company, a consultancy focused on equity and authentic representation in the arts and culture, and a lecturer at Stanford University. He is excited to join Burn1, whose mission brings social and restorative justice into the crypto and cannabis spaces.
Bill is an Adjunct Professor and the Executive Director of Stanford’s innovative Design Program. An Apple veteran and Star Wars toy designer, Bill is passionate about reforming our draconian drug laws and promoting life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, by whatever means you choose.
Christopher Byrd is a writer who lives in Brooklyn. His work has appeared in The Washington Post, The New York Times Book Review, The New Yorker, and elsewhere. He is enamored with the world of culture and ideas.
Madison Butler has been a dynamic and indispensable voice for equity and inclusivity in the tech industry for over a decade. With a background in Human Resources consulting and equitable organization design, Madison has built inclusive workplace cultures in both the cannabis and tech start-up industries. Her mission to steer the cannabis industry at large in a more inclusive direction makes her a fundamental voice on our Burn1 Advisory Board.
Dr. Twyla Baker Ph.D
President of NHS College
Twyla Baker is a citizen of the Mandan, Hidatsa, & Arikara Nation of Fort Berthold, North Dakota. She is President of Nueta Hidatsa Sahnish College, a public tribal land-grant community college in New Town, ND. Her work is highly focused on improving the quality of life for American Indians, Alaska Natives, and Native Hawaiians, and her work runs the gamut of Native consciousness, research, and education. She writes and publishes academically and popularly in a number of venues, including on social media under the handle @Indigenia.

Jerry is a keynote speaker, workshop facilitator, and host who has worked with some of the world’s most recognized brands in corporate and higher education. He speaks on a variety of topics including authentic storytelling, personal branding, and the Asian American experience in the workplace.
He is the Founder & CEO of Just Like Media, an Asian American storytelling company whose podcast brands include Dear Asian Americans, MBAsians, The Janchi Show, and Asian Podcast Network whose partnerships include McDonald’s, US Census 2020, and US Dept. of Health and Human Services.
Prior, he was a Senior Strategy Consultant at Accenture and sales leader at start-ups and Fortune 500 companies. Jerry has a BS from USC Marshall and an MBA from Michigan Ross, where he served as President of the Student Government Association. He currently serves on the USC Marshall Volunteer Leadership Council and Michigan Ross Sanger Leadership Center Advisory Board. Along with his wife Kyunghwa and his two children, Jerry lives in Southern California
